The sky in January 2027 for Sagittarius

The month begins with Venus finishing its stay in Scorpio, your twelfth house of rest, so the first days suit quiet company. On January 7 Venus enters Sagittarius at 2:48 AM, and that afternoon the New Moon in Capricorn refreshes your second house of possessions and self-worth. Three days later Mars stations retrograde in Virgo, your tenth house of career, beginning a review that lasts until April 1.

Mercury enters Aquarius on January 13 and the Sun follows on January 20, both lighting your third house of conversation and learning. The Full Moon in Leo on January 22 falls in your ninth house, the sign your ruler Jupiter is retracing, and stirs an appetite for somewhere new. Around January 29 Venus in your sign trines Jupiter, and on January 31 Mercury moves into Pisces, your fourth house of home.

Love and relationships

With Venus in your first house from January 7, you are easy to like this month, and you may notice it. Single or attached, it suits you to say what you enjoy and to accept invitations. The days around January 29, when Venus trines Jupiter, favour generosity: a thoughtful gesture, a shared plan, a long conversation.

Career and work

Mars retrograde in your tenth house can make a professional goal feel slower than you would like. Rather than pushing, consider using January to check the direction: which projects still deserve your effort, and which were started in a hurry? The Capricorn New Moon is a sensible day to list the skills and tools you already have.

Wellbeing

The First Quarter Moon in Aries on January 15 lands in your fifth house of play, a good prompt to make room for a hobby. Later, the Last Quarter in Scorpio on January 29 favours an early night and a little privacy before February's eclipses.
